Three farms contributed part of their harvest to this coffee. They cover a total of 103.49 hectares, and are owned by Mervin González Vaca, Adolfo Omar Guadamuz Ortez, and Justo Pastor Montecino. Two of the farms are located in the department of Nueva Segovia, whilst the other is located in the neighbouring department of Jinotega. The states sit adjacent and lie on the northern border of the country with Honduras. Nueva Segovia has an excellent reputation for producing very fine cups thanks to the high altitudes at which coffee is grown there. Jinotega, in contrast, is known for producing coffees with heavy body, and the combination of the two regions makes for a beautifully balanced cup.
